Yuval Zehavi is a theater director interested in the exploration of authentic live performance in alternative spaces. He is a recent graduate of the MFA in Theater Directing program at UCLA. Yuval has directed impactful productions such as 4000 Miles (2019), held in an actual apartment in Tel-Aviv, and Keffiyeh/Made in China (2023), set in the last keffiyeh factory in Palestine. Yuval's approach to site-specific theater extends to his work on Sebastian's Torments (2021), an original play reimagining a love story involving Yoav, the Biblical military commander, and the tormented Saint Sebastian. For his thesis production, Yuval directed the play The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told (2024), a queer and theatrical celebratory retelling of some of the major biblical narratives. As a video editor, Yuval has been working with a diverse array of private clients, educational institutions and social organizations to promote social change. He is passionate about creating engaging content which tell stories of people and communities worldwide.
